Clinical A/PROF SIOW JIN KEAT
Emeritus Consultant Department of Otorhinolaryngology Tan Tock Seng Hospital Singapore A/Prof Siow's subspecialty interest is in rhinology, image guidance in sinus surgery and anterior skull base surgery.
He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in July 1989 and a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore in May 1993. He was granted acceptance of Doctorate of Medicine Thesis (A Study of Asian Paranasal Sinus Anatomy Using Tri-Planar Projections on Computed Tomograph Scans) by the Dean and the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore in June 2006. He has been teaching faculty for endoscopic sinus surgery courses conducted at the University of Marburg (Germany), the University of Nairobi (Kenya), Sun Yat Sun University Guangzhou (China), University of Texas Medical School (Houston), the International Islamic University (Malaysia), the Hirslandaen Clinic (Zurich), the Veteran's General Hospital (Taipei), University of Indonesia, Ciptomangunkusomo Hospital (Jakarta), University of North Sumatra( Medan), Diponegoro University (Semarang), Khon Kaen University (Thailand), Singapore General Hospital, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Changi General Hospital. He was a Visiting Expert of the Ministry of Health, Kuwait to Zain Hospital and Al-Jahrah Hospital (Kuwait). He is a past member of the Editorial Board of the European Archives of ORL H and N Surgery. He was Chairman of the Singapore Ministry of Health Clinical Practice Guideline Workgroup for Rhinosinusitis and Allergic Rhinitis 2010. and a Past President of the Asian Research Symposium in Rhinology and the ASEAN ORL H&N Federation. |
