Dr. Stella Lee is the Director of Sinonasal Disorders and Allergy at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. The main focus of her lab is basic to translational research in the field of chronic rhinosinusitis including the role of lipid mediators in inflammation, endotype characterization, and correlation with patient quality of life including novel ways to assess olfaction. She has been the principal investigator for multiple clinical trials investigating new therapeutics for the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis, which have in turn provided further avenues for translational research. She has an active clinical practice, managing patients with refractory chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal polyps, hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia syndrome, cystic fibrosis, and allergic diseases.
