Narinder Singh is a Rhinologist, Head of Dept, Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at Westmead Hospital (Australia's largest hospital complex) and Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Sydney (Australia's oldest and largest medical school). He has published over 90 peer-reviewed publications, university textbooks and book chapters and has given over 260 guest and keynote presentations at international scientific meetings. He has supervised 12 PhD and Masters students to completion with another 7 PhD and Masters students currently under supervision. His team has received over $5m in direct and in-kind funding from the Australian Research Council, Co-operative Research Australia, Passe and Williams Foundation, Microsoft, ResMed, Optinose and GSK. His key research themes are Artificial Intelligence (AI) (www.amsah.org) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) (www.scona.org). His flagship research project is www.DrumBeat.ai, using AI to address ear disease in rural and remote Aboriginal Children.
