Chadi A. Makary, MD is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. He is the Vice Chair of Clinical Services, Chief of Rhinology, and the Medical Director of Quality and Performance Improvement.

Dr Makary completed medical school at the American University of Beirut Lebanon, otolaryngology residency at West Virginia University, and rhinology/endoscopic skull base surgery fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia. 

Dr Makary serves at several committees of the American Rhinologic Society including the International Liaison committee, the pediatric rhinology committee, and the Allergy/Immunology in Rhinology section. 

His clinical interests include inflammatory sinus diseases in adults and children, the relationship of the immune system and chronic rhinosinusitis, and skull base pathologies.

His research interests include studying the quality-of-life outcomes in various inflammatory and non-inflammatory rhinologic diseases.
