Prof. Dr. Clemens Heiser is a leading expert in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, and sleep medicine. Based at the HNO-Zentrum Mangfall-Inn in Bad Aibling, Germany, he directs a highly regarded Sleep Laboratory and holds a professorship at the Technical University of Munich. He also serves as guest professor at the University of Antwerp in Belgium.

Prof. Heiser leads the neurostimulation research group in ENT, with a primary focus on sleep-disordered breathing, particularly obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). His clinical research is centered on innovative treatments such as hypoglossal nerve stimulation and minimally invasive sleep surgery. He is also involved in the development of cutting-edge diagnostic tools for OSA, pushing the boundaries of personalized sleep medicine.

An internationally recognized authority, Prof. Heiser has received numerous national and international awards for his scientific contributions. His work bridges high-level clinical expertise with translational research, significantly advancing the field of sleep medicine.

In addition to his academic and clinical roles, he is founder and Chief Medical Officer of LunaLab, a pioneering telemedicine platform dedicated to sleep health. Through LunaLab, he is shaping the future of remote diagnostics and therapy in sleep medicine.

Prof. Heiser’s innovative work and leadership make him one of the most respected voices in ENT and sleep research today.
