DR JESSIE CHI
Chief Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery Taichung Hospital, Ministry of Health and Welfare Taiwan Dr. Jessie Chao-Yun Chi is the Chief of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Taichung Hospital, Ministry of Health and Welfare in Taiwan. She earned her MD from China Medical University in 2007 and completed her PhD at the Institute of Medicine, Chung Shan Medical University in 2023. She also completed a visiting observer ship at Stanford Hospital's Sleep Medicine Center in 2018.
Dr. Chi specializes in sleep surgery and medicine, as well as functional and cosmetic facial plastic surgery. She is an active member of the Taiwan Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the Taiwan Society of Sleep Medicine, and the Taiwan Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Her accolades include the Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society of the Republic of China (2023), Best Poster Award at the 12th Singapore Sleep, Allergy, and Rhinology (SARC) Conference (2022), and Best Oral Presentation in Sleep Medicine at the 13th Asia-Oceania ORL-HNS Congress (2015). Dr. Chi has been invited to present at numerous conferences, including the 1st OSA Interdisciplinary Symposium (2024), the 16th Taiwan-Japan Conference on Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (2023), the 9th World Congress of Facial Plastic Surgery (2020), 1st Singapore Sleep, Allergy, and Rhinology Conference (SARC) Sleep workshop (2019), and 9th Asian Facial Plastic Surgery Society (AFPSS) Congress (2018). Dr. Chi’s expertise and contributions have advanced the fields of sleep surgery and medicine, as well as functional and cosmetic facial plastic surgery. We refer to this innovative combination of techniques as the "Sleeping Beauty" procedure. |
