DR YU-FENG CHEN
Assistant Professor Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital Kaohsiung, Taiwan Dr. Yu-Feng Chen is an assistant professor in the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery at Kaohsiung medical university (KMU), Taiwan, and serves as co-director of the sleep medicine center at KMU. He is board-certified in both oral and maxillofacial surgery and sleep medicine by the respective specialist boards in Taiwan. In addition, he is the international faculty of AOCMF and ITI.
Dr. Chen obtained his dental degree and master’s degree in dentistry and is currently pursuing his PhD. He completed a clinical fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan in 2014, followed by a research fellowship in sleep surgery at the department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Stanford University, USA from 2016 to 2017. His clinical expertise encompasses surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea, orthognathic surgery, and full-arch dental implant surgery. His research interests focus on the genetic polymorphisms associated with obstructive sleep apnea, treatment results of sleep surgery, and the application of digital technologies in oral and maxillofacial surgery. |
