Venezuelan-born ENT surgeon.
 
Training in sleep medicine and sleep surgery.
 
Residency in Otolaryngology in Caracas, Venezuela
 
Subspecialty training in Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea Surgery at the Universidad de Nuevo León in Monterrey, Mexico.
 
Diploma in Sleep Medicine from the Universidad de Los Andes in Santiago, Chile.
 
Currently practices at the American Hospital in Dubai, treating adult and paediatric patients with sleep-disordered breathing. Clinical focus in comprehensive upper airway evaluation, drug-induced sleep endoscopy (DISE), and multidisciplinary management of obstructive sleep apnea.
 
Founding and active board member of the Ibero-American Sleep Surgery Society (SIBECS), and an active member of the International Sleep Surgery Society (ISSS), the World Sleep Society, and the European Sleep Research Society.
 
Adjunct Professor at the University of the Gulf and the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, contributing to the academic development of future ENT and sleep medicine specialists.
 
Dr. Schwarts has performed sleep surgery in several countries and has a special interest in promoting high-quality, evidence-based care across cultural and geographic boundaries. She is also committed to raising awareness about functional breathing, early diagnosis in children, and the integration of ENT perspectives in sleep medicine.
