PROF HSU PON POH
(1st SARC Sleep Workshop Faculty) Chief & Senior Consultant Department of Otorhinolaryngology Changi General Hospital Singapore Pon Poh is currently the Chief and Senior Consultant Surgeon, ENT Department; Assistant Chairman, Medical Board; Director, Integrated Sleep Service; Advisor & Past Chairman, International Liaison Unit; Advisor & Past-Chairman for CTUR & Research of Changi General Hospital, Singapore. He also serves in various capacities, past and present, with Ministry of Health, Ministry of Defence, SingHealth cluster, SMC and SMJ. Pon Poh is an Adjunct Associate Professor in School of Medicine, NUS, and an Adjunct Professor, Singapore University of Technology and Design, Visiting Professor, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan. He graduated with MBBS in 1993, obtained two Surgical Fellowships from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Glasgow in 1998. He also had his post-graduate training at Oxford & Stanford University. He received his Fellowship from Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 2002 and his Doctorate in Medicine by Thesis/Research (M.D.) in 2003, a post-graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management in 2010. He has received 25 international, local awards & various invited lectureships, and serves as reviewer/editor for various academic jou rnals. Pon Poh also spearheads various Collaborative Initiatives in recent years, including CGH-SNEC, CGH-NNI, and CGH-NDC as well as with other Academic & Healthcare partners locally and Overseas. Currently, he is the Lead Clinician in Campus Development/Healthcare remodelling in CGH, as well as Chairman, SUTD-Duke-NUS Clinician Innovator Program.
