PROF RICK CHANDRA
Chief of Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Vanderbilt University Nashville, USA Rakesh (Rick) Chandra is Professor and Division Chief for Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN (USA). He has been Course Director for multiple international CME conferences including the American Rhinologic Society (ARS) Summer Sinus Symposium, the North American Rhinology and Allergy Conference, and Rhinoworld Chicago 2019. He has also participated as Invited Faculty in Shanghai, Melbourne, Auckland, London, India, Cuba, and Switzerland. Dr. Chandra has served on the boards of the ARS, the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission, and multiple peer reviewed journals. Presently he is on the ARS Executive Committee as Secretary, and is Editor-in-Chief for Ear Nose and Throat Journal. Dr. Chandra is holder of the Endowed Directorship in Otolaryngology Leadership and Educational Development at Vanderbilt. Recently he completed a Masters in Business in the Healthcare Management program at the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management. Dr. Chandra completed Fellowship in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA (2003) and has also served on faculty at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. He has authored over 150 peer reviewed publications, written multiple chapters, and has edited three textbooks.
