DR CRYSTAL CHEONG
(1st SARC Sleep Workshop Faculty) Associate Consultant Department of Otolaryngology (ENT) - Head & Neck Surgery National University Hospital Singapore Dr Crystal Cheong graduated from Monash University, Australia, and proceeded on to pursue her passion in otolaryngology by becoming a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh), Master of Medicine (Otolaryngology), and Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. She has also obtained certification from the Educational Commission of Foreign Medical Graduates.
Upon completing her otolaryngology residency training, she was appointed Associate Consultant in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, National University Hospital. Her special interest lies in snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea, and she hopes to further develop the sleep service in her institution. Dr Cheong also enjoys teaching - she is a clinical lecturer with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, as well as an active member of the inter-professional education committee. |
