Dr. Omura graduated from the Jikei University School of Medicin Tokyo JAPAN in 2004. After completing a short-term exchange at the St. Thomas Hospital in the United Kingdom as an exchange student with the selected grant from the Jikei University. An initial clinical internship started at the Asahi General Hospital and a fellow in the Otorhinolaryngology department in 2006.
 
Dr. Omura engaged in medical care in Asian countries through NPO JAPAN HEART from 2006 to 2008. During these two years, Dr. Omura entered the Diploma of Tropical medicine & hygiene at Mahidol University Thailand but was suspended to assist the cyclone victims that hit Myanmar, which happened immediately after that. In Cambodia, he also trained local emergency medical staff as a short-term expert of JICA.
 
Since 2009, he has been admitted to the otorhinolaryngology department at the Jikei University School of Medicine.
As an otolaryngology department, he specializes in endoscopic sinus surgery and skull base surgery and doing the highest numbers of sino-nasal malignant tumor resection by an endoscope.
Dr. Omura reports six novel surgical techniques and has transmitted it's techniques of endoscopic approach to tumors in the nasal cavity, skull base, and orbital region to the world as well as Japan.
 
Launched NPO knot Asia in 2016 with the concept of "connecting the country with medical care and education," Dr. Omura and his team are upgrading the endoscopic sinus surgery in Asian countries such as Cambodia, Myanmar, and Lao PDR.
