I am currently working as a Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) at All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna which is one of the Institute of National Importance in the country of India. I have been trained in Neurotology and Skull base surgery at one of the most reputed institutes of India, SGPGIMS Lucknow. I have been awarded the BACO Fellowship, UK in 2008 and also have done my clinical attachment in Neurotology at Glasgow Royal Infirmary in the year 2011. In 2016 I was awarded the International Visiting Scholarship (IVS) by the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (AAOHNS). I am member of the American Academy since 2016 which was part of this award.
 
I am a certified cochlear implant surgeon having done more than 250 cochlear implants at our centre. I am also avidly interested in endoscopic skull base and lateral skull base surgeries having operated many cases of endoscopic removal of early as well as advance stage angiofibromas, tympanicojugulare paragangliomas, acoustic neuromas, endoscopic pituitary surgeries etc. Our centre also collaborates with Neurosurgery Department for various skull base procedures.
 
I have more than 70 publications in both national and international publications some in very high impact factor journals. My research has been awarded at many forums and I have also been awarded for the best Post graduate award paper, junior consultant award paper, senior consultant award papers during my career at All India National Conference of ENT Surgeons in our country.
