Adj Asst Prof Ng Chew Lip is an Otolaryngologist trained in Facial Plastic Surgery. He is fellowship-trained in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in London, UK and Toronto, Canada, during which he was awarded the Kris Conrad Award in Facial Plastic Surgery. He has strong interests in Asian rhinoplasty, facial palsy rehabilitation, sinus surgery, and scar management after face and neck surgery.
 
Dr Ng is the Clinical Director, Undergraduate Director and Research Director of his department. He holds the academic appointment of Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and was former Associate Program Director of the National University Health System ENT Residency Program. 
 
Dr Ng actively publishes in peer-reviewed journals, has authored textbook chapters and serves on the editorial boards of medical journals including the Singapore Medical Journal. He has received several grants for his research work. 
 
Outside of clinical work, Dr Ng serves as Honorary Secretary of the Society of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Singapore, Council Member of the Singapore Medical Association, member of the Law Society Inquiry Panel, and member of the Art Science Council of the NUS Mind Science Centre.
