Dr Alex Tham is an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) – Head and Neck Surgeon currently in private practice at Asian Healthcare Specialists, Mount Alvernia Hospital. Prior to his current practice, he served as a Consultant at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and as a Visiting Consultant to KK Women's and Children's Hospital.

He graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and completed his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery in Singapore. During this time, he obtained membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a Master of Medicine (Otorhinolaryngology) from NUS.

Dr Tham undertook advanced fellowship training in rhinology at McGill University, Canada, further deepening his expertise in the management of complex nasal, sinus, and airway conditions.

He is active in both local and regional ENT communities, currently serving as Honorary Secretary of the Chapter of Otorhinolaryngologists, College of Surgeons, Singapore, and Treasurer of the ASEAN Rhinologic Society.
